Founder, Coach

I am a New York transplant reveling in the beauty of Northern California.  A long time hospitality professional, I suffered an injury several years back that made me realize how truly valuable my health was.  I started a health coaching practice and began to focus in on a long held passion of mine – personal growth and healing.

As time went on with my coach practice, I began to feel like something was missing.   I loved how goal and action oriented it was.  But I felt that there were foundational issues that went unaddressed.  I have had years of therapy and frankly have loved them.  They shifted my understanding and allowed me much greater insight into how and why I am who I am and why I do what I do.  And yet… I saw that understanding did not change my beliefs or patterns.  It allowed me awareness of them, I could recognize them and work with them – but they remained nonetheless.

My interest shifted to trauma work, and release.  EMDR and Somatic Experiencing were both powerful modalites that felt as though they were addressing those deeper issues– but my first experience of Matrix Reimprinting had me hooked.  The ability to connect with and offer healing to my past self felt so sweet, so special and the healing so deep.  I felt more whole after each session as if the work we were doing was allowing me to gather back pieces of myself.

And so I’ve completed all the course work through the Tapping the Matric Academy in Santa Rosa, EFT Levels I and II, as well as Matrix Reimprinting Levels I and II.  I am a certified EFT Practioner and have been working as an EFT Practitioner for over 5 years.  Sharing this process with my clients has been amazing, watching old wounds heal and seeing the shifts that occur is truly inspiring.  I feel blessed to have discovered this path and calling.

I am a Columbia University graduate.  I completed my Health Coach Certification and Master Health Coach Certification through Dr Sears Wellness Center.  I completed my Integrative Health Coach training through Duke Integrative Medicine.

I have also completed courses in Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Reiki, Neuroplasticity and Intuitive Eating.  I love to learn and expect to be continually adding to that list!

I am a compulsive reader and am usually reading at least one book – probably one fiction and one non-fiction at a time. I love travelling, I also love staying home and cooking.  I am an avid hiker who thrives on a connection to nature.  I also enjoy meditating, spinning, yoga and pilates… scrabble, cribbage and poker… and a cup of tea with a good show to stream at night!
